The Canadian Recreational Vehicle Association (CRVA) is proud to announce that its 50th Anniversary RV Giveaway campaign raised more than $80,000 in support of Care Camps Canada, a charity providing outdoor camp experiences for children living with cancer and their families.
Launched in February 2025, the year-long initiative brought together RV enthusiasts, dealers, manufacturers, campground owners, and outdoor adventurers from across Canada. A coast-to-coast RV Tour helped promote the RV lifestyle while raising awareness and funds, with thousands participating by purchasing tickets for a chance to win a new RV.

The grand prize—a Citation Reward travel trailer generously provided by General Coach Canada—was awarded at The Toronto Spring Camping and RV Show on March 1st. The winner was Denise Magwood of St. Catharines, Ontario.
CRVA also contributed $1 per paid attendee from the 2026 show, helping surpass the $80,000 milestone.
“These past twelve months have been incredibly meaningful,” said CRVA President Shane Devenish. “As we celebrated 50 years, we wanted to give back in a meaningful way, and the response from the RV community was remarkable.”
Care Camps supports a network of specialized oncology camps across North America, including 16 in Canada, providing children with cancer and their families the opportunity to enjoy time outdoors, build friendships, and create lasting memories in a supportive camp environment.
