About the Position

Plant Manager (Park Model Division)

General Coach Canada is a 100% Made in Canada manufacturer of one of a kind park model RVs, rental cabins, mobile homes, theatrical trailers and exclusive commercial units. We proudly offer our customers the best warranty in the industry, along with a service department that strives to go beyond the expected.

We are currently seeking a Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of manufacturing at our Park Model Division.

Job Duties

  • Plan, organize, and direct the daily activities of the plant to meet production needs.
  • Ensure efficient and effective production processes.
  • Manage production schedules and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Oversee maintenance and repairs to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
  • Maintain and improve product quality by ensuring adherence to relevant standards and regulations
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Implement and monitor quality control procedures.
  • Hire, train, and manage plant employees
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Communicate effectively with plant staff, management, and customers.
  • Prepare and present reports on plant performance and operations.
  • Coordinate with other plant manager and departments, such as purchasing, engineering, and sales.

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a management role.
  • Must have people skills – Developing teams, training, coaching, facilitating and guiding
  • Demonstrates excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective management skills
  • High level of planning, organizational and implementation skills.
  • Ability to manage stressful situation tactfully in a dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines.
  • High energy team player, with a positive can-do-attituded, flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Union experience is preferred
