We seek an innovative and motivated Draftsperson to join our team in Hensall, Ontario. This is a permanent full-time position with the opportunity to grow with an industry leader. The Draftsperson will be responsible for the development and preparation of engineering designs and drawings.

Job Duties

• Prepare computer-assisted design (CAD) drawings

• Check and verify design drawings conform to specifications and design data

• Respond quickly to the shop floor’s needs, addressing issues that may arise during production

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Autocad Inventor experience, including standardized drafting practices

• Thorough knowledge of Ontario Building Code and residential construction

• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Possess a good command of the English language with excellent communication skills to liaise with other employees to enable the company to achieve its goals and objectives

• Lumion 3D, SketchUp and Microvellum experience would be an asset

• Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills
